Google and Verizon announced plans to bring to the market in the United States the latest Google phone out there, namely the Galaxy Nexus, and also revealed that they would be packing it with LTE capabilities.

Due to this new feature, the handset is thicker than the HSPA+ version that arrived on shelves in the UK. To be more precise, the LTE-less variant is 0.6mm slimmer than the 4G-capable one.

Moreover, some point out that the Galaxy Nexus that will arrive on shelves at Verizon also seems to show a more prominent chin, as well as increased curvature.

Moreover, it will be a bit heavier, as previously noted, not to mention that it will include a bigger battery than the European counterpart. What remains to be seen now is when exactly Verizon plans on making the new phone available for purchase on its network.
