The development team at Funcom working on LEGO Minifigures Online announces that it is delivering a video for the game, which is designed to introduce all players to the world that they will be able to explore.

Pirate World, the Treasure Island dungeon and the awesomely named Crikey the Kraken are part of the footage, as elements of the game that have never before been shown to the public.

Lawrence Poe, executive producer working on LEGO Minifigures Online, states, “This is a game with tremendous amount of variety and there is just so much to see and experience here. Our goal is to combine accessibility with depth to make sure we make a LEGO Minifigures game that can appeal to kids of all ages.”

LEGO Minifigures Online will include more than 100 pieces on launch and is designed to appeal specifically to younger fans of the brick-based universe.

The game is at the moment in a beta testing phase.
