The development team at Rare and publisher Microsoft are delivering a new trailer for Kinect Sports Rivals, the Xbox One exclusive game that’s coming in 2014, created specifically for the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany.

The footage is designed to show how the title can use the motion capture tech in order to actually register all the core characteristics of a player and move him to the world of the game.

The team says, “With online tournaments, head-to-head rivalries and a world full of, sports are reimagined to ignite your competitive spirit.”

Kinect Sports Rivals will also use the power of the cloud in order to make sure that players can create and maintain rivalries with a number of their friends.

The game was initially set to arrive at the same time as the Xbox One, in November, but has been pushed back to get an extra coat of polish from Rare.
