14 DAY TRIAL // Amazon’s French division has once again leaked a pretty important game, as the online retailer listed a special Killzone Trilogy pack for the PlayStation 3 and gave it an October 24 release date.
The Killzone franchise has seen the release of a PlayStation 2 game, two PS3 titles, as well as a spinoff for the PSP and an upcoming installment for the PS Vita.
While the series hasn’t enjoyed the popularity of other first-person shooters, there are still plenty of loyal fans out there.
As such, Sony is apparently working on a special Killzone Trilogy bundle that will be released this October, at least according to a listing on Amazon.fr, via AGB.
No other details are known but, given the fact that a Killzone 1 remake for the PS3 was initially announced for release at the beginning of the year, only to be delayed indefinitely, it’s possible that the trilogy will include Killzone 1, 2, and 3.
Expect to hear an official announcement in the near future.
