After many rumors, Sony has officially confirmed that the Jak and Daxter Trilogy is coming to the PlayStation Vita handheld platform, as the three games in the series will appear for the portable device in June.

The Jak and Daxter franchise delighted many PlayStation 2 gamers back in the day and developer Naughty Dog recently re-released the three games in the series, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3, in high definition for the PS3.

Now, the studio has just confirmed that the Jak and Daxter trilogy is making its way onto the PS Vita.

The collection includes the three original games with the same graphics as the PS2 iterations.

The new titles take advantage of the PS Vita's touchscreen in certain mini-games and there's a full set of trophies for each experience.

The Jak and Daxter Trilogy is out officially in June for the PS Vita.
