Operation Israel continues with breaches performed by Pakistani hackers

HACKING NEWS

Pakistani hackers are also contributing to Operation Israel (OpIsrael). They’ve hacked and defaced a number of three Israeli sites apparently belonging to Microsoft, and the official website of Groupon (groupon.co.il).

The affected Microsoft websites are the ones of Skype (skype.co.il), MSN (msn.org.il) and Live services (live.co.il).

“I am writing on the behalf of all Pakistani and all Muslims. DAMN you ISREAL. So, what you reap from that war except the destruction and devastation of your life!! You only made a Palestinian generation more stronger, more ruthless and more valor!” the hackers wrote on the defaced websites.

“Because you are mentally retarded people because you do not learn from your mistakes, and from mistakes of those who preceded you of your pigs! Your war on Gaza will make you cry blood and let the next few days prove that to you! And let know that the possible options before the Zionist soldier entered Gaza are four options, no more!”

The hackers also mock the statement of Israeli Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz, who said that their security systems were capable of blocking millions of cyberattacks.

Earlier today, Steinitz has revealed that although the government’s systems have been hit by 44 million attacks so far, only one of them has been successful.

“We swear by ALLAH, we will come to you like hungry lions, cut your bodies, roast your Asses, and rip what remaining of you. But who fall in our hands of your soldiers, we will throw him to our children to play him as a hungry cat,” they added.

At the time of writing, all the aforementioned websites were still defaced.

We’ve reached out to Microsoft representatives to find out if the company is responsible for the sites or if they’re operated by third parties.

Update. The Hackers Media reveals that the same hacker collective is responsible for defacing numerous other high-profile websites, including microsoftstore.co.il, opel.co.il, philips.co.il, bing.co.il, bbc.org.il, cocacola.co.il, coke.co.il, xboxignite.co.il, intelappup.co.il, intel.co.il, and many others.

Update2. Microsoft has confirmed that the affected websites are managed by a third party company.
“Microsoft is aware of the site defacements and working to get all sites fully functional. At present, we have seen no evidence to suggest the compromise of customer information but will take action to help protect customers as necessary,” a Microsoft spokesperson told Softpedia.
