Microsoft has already announced that it was planning to release several updates on Tuesday and, given the fact that Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 is reportedly ready to be launched, the browser could see daylight in just a few hours.
Even though the Redmond-based technology company usually launches fixes for its software products on Patch Tuesday, Microsoft will roll out a second batch of updates for February 2013 aimed at Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows RT.
The firm hasn’t provided specific details on these updates, but it did mention that they are supposed to bring improved features and performance enhancements.
A preview version of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 is already available for download but, as far as users go, it’s a buggy build that’s often slower than all the other Windows browser versions.
