Chris Wilson announced yesterday, May 1st, that version 2.19.0 of the xf86-video-intel graphics driver for Linux is available for download.

Intel 2.19 video driver brings a lot of changes, especially fixes for UXA and support for another variant of IvyBridge. Given the severity of the stability fixes, Chris Wilson has recommended that users upgrade to the new version as soon as possible.

Highlights of xf86-video-intel 2.19.0:

· Pixmap (and bo leak) during fallback glyph composition has been fixed; · Waiting on scanlines whilst not in control of the VT and therefore whilst referencing foreign CRTC configurations has been prevented; · Broken acceleration for rendering glyphs directly upon the destination pixmap, exposed by cairo-1.12.0, has been removed; · A crash upon server start with multiple monitors has been fixed.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement.
