Samsung and its carrier partners are reportedly gearing up for the release of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Samsung Galaxy S II handsets starting tomorrow, March 13th.

Apparently, South Korean wireless carrier SK Telecom will start the delivery of this software update for its Galaxy S II users at 10AM local time tomorrow.

The wireless services provider made an official announcement on the matter on its Twitter account, though it removed it soon after.

Moreover, The Verge claims that the document they spotted on the carrier’s website confirms the said availability timeframe for this update.

Previously, Samsung promised the update for early 2012, though it has not offered specific info on the matter as of yet. However, the company did say that it would make a formal announcement on Twitter as soon as the update was ready to go.

Apparently, it should not be too long before they make the official unveiling.
