Yesterday, Alcatel made official a new series of affordable Android-based smartphones in the One Touch Pop family, and we got the chance to play with some of them today at IFA 2013 in Berlin.

One of the most cost effective devices in the lineup is the Alcatel One Touch Pop C3, a 4.3-inch smartphone that can still deliver appealing performance capabilities to those who will choose to purchase it.

The mobile phone comes to the market with a 1.3GHz dual-core processor packed inside, while featuring 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory.

Alcatel also announced the new One Touch Pop C3 with a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper on the back, HSDPA+ connectivity packed inside, and dual-SIM capabilities, with dual-standby.

The new device is powered by Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and should arrive on the market as soon as the next month.
