PHP-Fusion is a content management system that provides you a rapid solution for managing web content with a ready made website made in PHP and driven by a MySQL database.

The default installation of PHP-Fusion content management system allows you to publish articles or news, setup a forum, an image gallery, to create a link directory and more. The image gallery has many features and is very easy to setup and use. You must login as a site administrator to the Admin Panel using the appropriate user name and password.

Then you click Photo Album icon in order to define new albums for your image gallery. You can set the album title, description, level of access and album icon. Then, from System Admin window you must select Photo Gallery Settings. Here you have the possibility to change various options, such as album thumbnail size, maximum individual photo size, maximum file size and more. You can also set the display of gallery by specifying the number of thumbs per row and per page.

The thumbnail compression method must be selected as a function of your server capabilities. One of many advantages of this gallery is the compatibility with PHP setting safe mode on. Users will submit their photos to various albums and the administrator will publish them or not from the Admin Panel/User Admin/Submissions. The photos will have a title and a description that can be modified by the administrator.

The gallery has a rating system which allows anyone to post comments and vote for the desired pictures. I recommend to maintain the default settings of image dimensions, because they seem to be optimal for web image integration in the web site content, but you should adjust them in case you have to deal with a certain type of images, for example landscapes of high resolution, which should be displayed at full size.
