Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, the sequel to the impressive indie brawler from last year, might appear on the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, besides the PC, Mac, and Linux systems, at least according to a YouTube video description that has since been modified by publisher Devolver Digital.

Hotline Miami impressed lots of gamers with its gory action and brutal difficulty, and the sequel, Wrong Number, promises even more great gameplay, not to mention a story that picks up from the previous title.

While Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number was confirmed earlier this year for PC, Mac, and Linux, the YouTube description of the game's teaser trailer has recently been modified by publisher Devolver Digital to say that the title is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita as well.

That modification was quickly eliminated by the publisher and now the description once again says PC, Mac, and Linux.

Considering Sony is preparing to make some big announcements at Gamescom 2013 next week, it's possible that Hotline Miami 2 is going to be confirmed for PS4 and PS Vita at that time.
