The developers at IO Interactive and publisher Square Enix have launched a new trailer for Hitman Absolution, a short teaser that gives players a taste of the experience that the game will offer.

The two companies have not offered too much information on what the new Agent 47 powered game will deliver and the trailer does not answer too many questions from fans.

The developers at IO Interactive recently talked about the way the game will cater to long term fans of the series via a new hardcore mode, which will focus on stealth and will force players to avoid most violent acts.

Hitman Absolution is also set to get a mysterious multiplayer mode, which might mean multiple Agents working cooperatively towards an objective or a competitive mode between Agents and police, with stealth as the same mechanics.

The game will arrive on the PC and home consoles at some point during 2012.
