Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation was recently rumored to have bumped into a series of issues with the manufacturing of its HTC One smartphone, yet the company appears confident that it will be able to start shipping pre-orders before the end of this month.

According to previous reports, issues with the phone’s camera and audio system might affect the initial stock, with an analyst from KGI suggesting that HTC will be able to ship only around 1 million HTC One units in the first half of the year.

The handset vendor, however, told recombu that it was on track to start shipping pre-ordered units this month, while aiming at expanding the phone’s market availability in April.

"We will start fulfilling pre-orders by the end of March in certain markets and will roll out product to more markets as we approach April," HTC reportedly said.
