March 18th appears to be the lucky day for Windows Phone enthusiasts on the airwaves of wireless carrier AT&T.

On that day, the company is expected to make available for purchase two new Windows Phone handsets, namely the Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC TITAN II.

Both of them were made official a couple of weeks ago, at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and should go up for sale together on the said date.

A recent report on BGR suggested that Lumia 900 would be priced at only $99 when released, and a new article points at the price tag that HTC’s TITAN II would feature: $199 (152 Euros), with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

HTC’s new Windows Phone, and the first such device from the company to feature support for LTE networks, will cost double than Lumia 900 on the same monthly deal, mainly due to a larger touchscreen display and of a bit better hardware specs.

The smartphone packs a large 4.7-inch Super LCD display that can deliver a 480 x 800 pixels resolution, and is powered by a Qualcomm S2 Snapdragon application processor that has been clocked at 1.5GHz. It also features 512MB of RAM.

Another selling point of HTC TITAN II is its rear photo snapper, a 16-megapixel behemoth that sports dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, auto-focus, and support for HD video recording. It is complemented by a 1.3MP camera on the front.

The new Windows Phone packs 16GB of internal memory and cannot accommodate microSD cards to expand the available storage.

The handset will land on shelves with LTE and 3G connectivity capabilities, as well as with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth, microUSB, and built-in GPS receiver. The phone also packs FM radio with RDS, and a Li-Ion 1730 mAh battery.

The Windows Phone 7.5 Mango-powered HTC TITAN II comes with support for Bing Maps, Xbox Live, Zune, Email, Push Email, and with the HTML5-capable Internet Explorer 9 browser.
