Emobile Ltd., a new Japanese mobile operator, announced it will start to commercialize two new 3.5G HSDPA handsets, HTC S11HT EMONSTER and Toshiba H11T.

HTC S11HT EMONSTER runs on a Japanese version of Windows Mobile 6 Professional and brings a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display with a tilt-up feature, built-in GPS and a sliding full QWERTY keyboard. Measuring 112 x 59 x 19 millimeters and weighing 190 grams, the handset also offers other impressive features, including wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, a 3 Megapixel camera and a 1,350 mAh battery. EMONSTER is an abbreviation of "EMOBILE Net Smart Phone Terminal" and was chosen to present the handset as "the most powerful Internet business tool from your pocket".

HTC S11HT will be available starting March 2008, via Emobile's retail stores and its website, for a price of about $630 with a "Basic" Emobile plan.

Toshiba H11T is a clamshell handset that weighs 130 grams, measures 104 x 50 x 17.9 millimeters and packs a 400 x 240 pixels main display plus a 96 x 39 pixels monochrome OLED secondary screen. The phone comes with a 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, 1seg tuner for TV broadcastings and a secondary 800 mAh battery.

As HTC S11HT, Toshiba H11T will be available starting March 2008. Its price is set at about $540, with a "Basic" Emobile plan.

Both HTC S11HT EMONSTER and Toshiba H11T come at the same time when Emobile launches its new voice call service. Simply called the "Mobile Phone Plan", Emobile's basic plan comes with no monthly fee. Moreover, the carrier will offer lower fees on voice call services, in comparison with the rest of the Japanese mobile operators.

There's no info whether HTC S11HT EMONSTER and Toshiba H11T will be launched or not in other countries except Japan.
