Developers will be happy to know that HTC has just announced the availability of new source codes for some of its Android smartphones.

The Taiwanese handset maker tweeted on its official account a list of devices that got their Kernel source code released, such as: HTC Rezound, HTC Desire S, HTC Amaze, and HTC Explorer (Pico).

Most users who own it will probably be excited about the HTC Rezound's source code release, as many have been checking for a way to perm root this device.

Obviously these source codes do not target the end user, instead developers will be able to improve their skills at creating useful Android apps and customized ROMs that will blow your mind.

Those interesting to bring some software modifications to one or more of the smartphones listed above can head to HTC's developer site and download any of the newly released kernel source codes.
