Today, HTC made official its 5.9-inch HTC One max smartphone, which should arrive on shelves in the UK as soon as this week at Vodafone, and which is now rumored to arrive on shelves in the United States in the beginning of November.

According to PhoneArena, press photos that were sent out upon the official announcement of the device suggest that Sprint and Verizon are bound to release the phone as soon as the next month.

Apparently, Sprint might be set to bring the device to its network on November 1, while Verizon could release it on November 7.

HTC did not offer specific info on the matter, but it did say that the new device was set to hit the market around the world starting with mid-end October, which suggests that the above rumor could prove false in the end.

One thing that appears to be confirmed for the time being is the fact that the two large CDMA carriers in the US will add the smartphone to their offerings.
