Starting today, mobile phone users in the United States can pre-order the HTC One smartphone through the wireless carrier Sprint, so as to ensure that they will receive a unit when the handset becomes officially available for purchase on April 19.

The smartphone can be seen listed on this page on the wireless carrier’s website, with a price tag of $199.99 attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement (those who will bring their own number to Sprint will have to pay only $99.99 for it).

Packing a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, HTC One arrives on shelves with a 4.7-inch full HD screen, a 4MP UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, front camera, 32GB of internal memory, LTE, a 2300 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean loaded on top.

Only the Silver version of HTC One is currently up for reservations at Sprint, while the Black flavor is listed as out of stock.
