Developer Polyphony Digital and publisher Sony have already announced that they will deliver a demo for Gran Turismo 6 on the PlayStation 3 during July and the companies are saying that players will be able to explore the Silverstone track.

Fans will be able to get a first state of the racing game on July 2 and the entire experience is built around the GT Academy concept, teaching players all the skills they will need in order to control the various cars and master the best racing line.

The announcement says, "Regardless of whether you are in one of the GT Academy eligible countries or not, once you have proved your skills and made the grade through the initial rounds you will unlock special bonus content."

The Gran Turismo 6 demo will only be offered until August 31.

The game will be out before the Christmas shopping season on the PlayStation 3.
