More NFC-capable handset models can offer the application to users

Google Wallet, the NFC application that was so far available only on CDMA devices on Sprint’s network, is now available for Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S handsets on AT&T’s network, as long as they pack NFC capabilities.

Basically, the GSM flavors of the two devices will be able to install the application, as long as they have the AT&T SIM card inside.

There is no need to make special settings on the device to ensure the application will be compatible. The software can be found in the Android Market, tied to the said AT&T SIM card.

Google Wallet has been an exclusive to Sprint’s devices for quite some time now, and we were all wondering when the Internet giant would decide to push it to more of its users out there. Oddly enough, Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus does not have access to the application now.
