We already reported on Verizon's plans to roll out Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Samsung DROID Charge, as the carrier already published the change log on its support site. Although the carrier did not disclose the update's exact release date, it appears that the folks over at DroidLife managed to get their hands on a Verizon internal document that confirms the update will be deployed on November 29.

Once again, the internal document also confirms some of the new features and improvements mentioned in the official change log which can be found at Verizon support site.

A new application called Download Manager will included with the upcoming update, which allows users to manage their downloads. More security features have been added as well, including Device and SD card encryption.
