The ice might give you shivers sometime, but when coupled with great colors and put on the background of your Windows 7 desktop, it can become a visual pleasure.

We recently saw how snowflakes and frost can bring a bit of winter to your desktops, or how high-resolution close-ups of ice cubes can give a new perspective on what ice is good for, and we can now take a look at frozen ice from a new angle, courtesy of the Party Ice theme that Microsoft released recently.

Available as a free download from Softpedia too, via this link, the new theme is meant to deliver a joyful mood to users’ Windows 7 desktops. Here’s what Microsoft has to say on it:

Set a party mood on your desktop with close-ups of colors filtering and reflecting through the prism of irregular ice cubes. Add a black light for maximum grooviness. Download this free Windows 7 theme to get the party started.
