Fans of the series can see how the new installment evolves its core mechanics

The development team at Capcom has offered fans of the series a solid look at the upcoming Monster Hunter 4, allowing anyone interested in the game to see 20 minutes of game action streamed from the Tokyo Game Show.

Players will be able to see how the core elements of the series, exploration and big monster battles, are expanded on in the new installment.

During the TGS show Capcom has also announced that it will launch the game on the Nintendo 3DS handheld early in 2013.

Capcom has not announced whether it currently has plans to localize Monster Hunter 4 for a Western release.

Players in Europe and North America will get access at the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which is being offered on the 3DS and on the upcoming Wii U home console.

The version of the game will include all the improvements that the title has received since it was first launched during 2009.
