Blizzard, after unveiling the massive Mists of Pandaria expansion for World of Warcraft, confirmed another interesting detail about the online role playing game and a new Annual Pass subscription program, which gives loyal players a free copy of Diablo III, the studio's next big game.

World of Warcraft, while still being the most popular MMORPG out there, has seen its subscriber count dwindle in recent months, largely because many players have hit the 85 level cap, aren't interested in the new adventures that are being added through patches, or are being lured away by other online RPGs, like the upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Now, in order to reward those that are sticking with its product, Blizzard has presented a new subscription plan for World of Warcraft, called the Annual Pass, which offers, for a limited time, a 12-month subscription to WoW as well as lots of great rewards, including a free copy of Diablo III, the eagerly awaited role playing dungeon crawler that's been promised by Blizzard for quite some time, as well as entry into the Mists of Pandaria beta.

"For a limited time only," Blizzard revealed, "players who make a 12-month subscription commitment to World of Warcraft through the WoW Annual Pass will receive the following epic rewards."

Diablo III Free – Download the digital version via Battle.net for free when the game launches early next year. This is the full game, not a trial edition. Tyrael’s Charger WoW Flying Mount – Ride for the Archangel of Justice on all current and future characters on a single World of Warcraft account. Tyrael’s Charger will arrive via in-game mail with the upcoming launch of patch 4.3. Access to the Next WoW Expansion Beta Test – Get a guaranteed spot in the beta test for the next World of Warcraft expansion (at a time to be announced in the future).

You can opt to pay for this Annual Pass either through a full payment or on a monthly basis. Prices depend on your region, so Blizzard advises WoW players to check the FAQ for this offer, available here, and get the full details.

Bear in mind that players which have a full World of Warcraft copy, registered on or before October 18, 2011, can take advantage of this offer.
