The game currently up for grabs on Xbox Live Marketplace is one of the best ever released for the service. Eidos' Geon: emotions offers "intense multiplayer head-to-head and co-op team action, razor sharp visuals and a pounding soundtrack," according to Microsoft (via CVG). Collecting pellets and scoring goals is pretty much what you'll have to do, but rest assured, you'll soon find that there's a lot more to be done in this game.

Official description: High octane visuals, with a fast and slick sound track to match, GEON: emotions is a psychedelic, pick-up-and-play game of rapidly changing tactics. Playing as one of eight emotions - Rage, Passion, Fear, Envy, Rapture, Courage, Bliss or Melancholy - players must race to collect pellets and score goals, using power-ups and their 'emotional' strengths and weaknesses. It makes a world of difference which emotion you choose.

They're not lying when they say "high octane visuals." Checking out the screens below, the official website, but ultimately downloading the game's free trial, will prove this very aspect. Anyway, let's see what else the game provides except visuals, pellets and power-ups.

There are three single player modes, according to GameZone.com: Duel, Time Attack and Mini Games. Then there are the three multiplayer modes for up to four players to get in on the action: Duel, Team Geon and Last Man Standing, while the huge array of arenas will surely raise your heart beat a notch.

Main features:

A different game - Geon: Emotions is something different, a fast-paced abstract sports game that lets you explore your emotions as you compete against opponents.

Next-gen graphics - The razor sharp visuals are accompanied by a pulse-pounding soundtrack.

Game modes - Perfect your skills in a head-to-head duel or try the time attack to win medals and unlock mini-games; multiplayer on Xbox LIVE with up to four players.

So?convinced yet? Heh, you're probably downloading the title right now...
