He has previously worked on an array of films like Ted, Battleship, or Identity Thief.
Ever since Epic Games released the first Gears of War back in 2006, movie companies have been fighting for the rights to a movie adaptation.
While initially the project was set to appear from New Line Cinema, creative differences put the development on hold.
Now, after plenty of rumors, Variety has confirmed that Scott Stuber is going to act as producer for the Gears of War movie.
Stuber, who worked on both action films, like Battleship, as well as comedies, like Ted or Identity Thief, will be in charge of getting scriptwriters, actors, and distributors.
