14 DAY TRIAL // The developers at Cyanide and the publishers at Focus Home Interactive have announced that Game of Thrones – Genesis, the real time strategy based on the A Song of Ice and Fire series from R.R. Martin, is now available both in digital stores and at retail.
Th game takes place well before the events shown in the books and detail how 8 Houses of Westeros battle for the Iron Throne, using both powerful armies of steel and leather and more cunning means, like espionage or diplomacy.
Game of Thrones – Genesis aims to accurately reflect the world that R.R. Martin has created, one where actual magic is pretty sparse and where the lives of men are constantly threatened by violence, political intrigue and the constant threat of the Others that are sequestered behind a huge Wall made of ice.
Focus is also set to publish a role playing game that will put players even deeper in the world of A Song of Fire and Ice at some point during 2012.
