Following the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 last week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is expected to make official a mini flavor of the device too, and hints at it have already emerged online, it seems.

A Samsung smartphone featuring model number SM-G870A has been spotted on the website of Indian import firm Zauba, supposedly hinting at this yet unannounced phone.

The listing on said website does not offer specific info on what the device will turn out to be, but the guys over at GalaxyClub.nl suggest that it should be none other than the Galaxy S5 mini.

According to them, the price ratio between Galaxy S5 mini and Galaxy S5 appears to be similar to that between Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4 last year.

As SamMobile notes, Samsung has been rumored before to be working on a smaller version of the Galaxy S5, one that would pack a Super AMOLED touchscreen display, while running under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The mobile phone is expected to become official sometime in June, yet there’s no telling on whether it will prove to be the newly spotted Samsung SM-G870A or not. However, more details on the matter will certainly appear closer to the handset’s arrival, so stay tuned to learn the news.
