Samsung’s large Galaxy Note smartphone is expected to be officially announced for the United States as soon as next week.

Previous rumors suggested that it might be launched at AT&T, but new reports claim that Sprint will carry the high-end mobile phone as well.

While the smartphone is expected to arrive at AT&T with LTE connectivity, rumor has it that it will hit shelves at Sprint with WiMAX features. However, since Sprint is moving to LTE, we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that it launched Galaxy Note with this 4G capability inside.

For the time being, Galaxy Note’s landing at Sprint is only a rumor, though the guys over at SprintFeed claim that next week will bring along all of the necessary details on the matter. More info will emerge as soon as CES 2012 kicks off, so stay tuned.
