Galaxy Nexus is about to hit the airwaves of mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless in the United States, and it will be able to provide users with great transfer speeds, it seems.

One lucky user who got hold of a Galaxy Nexus decided to perform a speed test on it, only to find out that the device is indeed capable of providing great transfer rates.

You can have a look at how the new device can perform on Big Red’s network in the video embedded above. The interesting part is that it can perform so well with only two signal bars.

What remains to be seen is when exactly the handset arrives on shelves, as Verizon has not made an official announcement on this until now. Based on the latest rumors, we can assume that the official announcement is very close, so stay tuned.
