A new build of Windows 8.1 got leaked only a few minutes ago, confirming that we’re very close to the official launch date of the new RTM version.

A Winclub forum member has also published two different screenshots showing the new leaked build in action, confirming that this is indeed a legitimate version that could be installed just like any other Windows release.

Keep in mind however that Windows 8.1 build 9471 is currently available on 64-bit systems exclusively, but the 32-bit flavor is also expected to reach the web soon.

As you can see in these screenshots, Microsoft hasn’t yet implemented any major UI changes, but the Start screen does come with a few tutorials to make everything a bit easier to use.

As far as the final build is concerned, Microsoft is set to send Windows 8.1 to RTM this month, so expect more details on the changes to be released in the next couple of weeks.
