Known as HTC Golf or HTC Wildfire C, the Desire C has just been caught on camera. The entry-level smartphone will be released with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The folks at ITProPortal have just published the first live pictures of the affordable Android phone, which is expected to arrive in the following weeks.

The handset is said to sport a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 320 pixels resolution. Moreover, the phone will pack 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

There’s no word on the processor equipped within the Desire C’s chassis, but we can safely assume it will be a single-core CPU clocked way under 1 GHz. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and HSDPA (7.2Mbps) connectivity options will be available as well.
