Just now, Dovado has announced the availability of a new firmware developed for its Tiny, PRO, GO, and DOMA routers, namely version 7.1.4, which includes support for new USB modems, as well as a few fixes and improvements.

Specifically speaking, the newly released update enables the SMS feature on TP-Link’s MA180 and MA260 modems, improves connection tracker fail-over when Huawei modems are used, and makes manual 4G/LTE frequency selection work properly with any Huawei E3276 firmware.

In addition to that, this latest version adds support for Huawei’s E5372T mobile hotspot, ZTE MF823, and Huawei’s E3276 4G USB modems, as well as for Alcatel X500D and Huawei’s E3131 3G USB modems.

As for applying Dovado’s release, just get and expand the proper downloadable archive, log into the router’s web interface, and go to Upgrade → HTTP Upgrade.

Now browse and select the bin file from within the newly extracted folder, click on the “Start HTTP Upgrade” button, and after approximately 3 minutes your router should have successfully installed the new firmware.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your Dovado router, take into account the above-mentioned aspects, and apply the new firmware in order to benefit from this new update.
