The development team at Square Enix working on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is delivering a new trailer for the coming MMO, this time showing a number of locations from the world of Eorzea using the processing power of the PlayStation 3 home console.

The new game is designed to push the Sony console to its limits and will introduce a number of new gameplay features alongside a visual upgrade.

An original Final Fantasy XIV was launched in 2010 and had a lot of problems, linked to both bugs and to the mechanics that Square Enix focused on.

A Realm Reborn will fix all those issues and introduce new content for long-term fans.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be launched on the PC and the PlayStation 3 during August and gamers will also get a beta stage earlier in the summer.
