Ubisoft announced that it will publish "Faces of War" (previously named "Outfront II"), a World War II squad-based, real-time strategy game for the PC. "Faces of War" is developed by Best Way, maker of "Soldiers: Heroes of World War II", and will be available in March 2006.

"With Faces of War, Ubisoft is bringing an intensely exciting title to PC gamers," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "The game brings an enhanced human and emotional element to the World War II genre and delivers breathtaking detail and spectacular game play."

"Faces of War" thrusts gamers into the decisive battles of World War II in Europe. Players command American, English, Soviet and German troops while fighting famous conflicts such as the Normandy Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge or the Battle of Berlin. Thanks to the complex artificial intelligence, soldiers don't simply execute any order given by a player, they try to do it in the most efficient and safe way. "Faces of War" takes combat gaming to a new level by integrating a psychological element.
