Last week, Samsung launched a new Android-based device in its highly popular Galaxy S lineup, the much expected Galaxy S III.

The latest flagship Android-based mobile phone from South Korean handset vendor is expected to make its debut on shelves in Europe at the end of this month, while set to arrive in the United States and other LTE countries afterwards.

However, it appears that enthusiast in the US will be able to buy the European flavor and use it on domestic networks as well.

Online retailer Negri Electronics, for example, is listing the Galaxy S III smartphone as available with support for AT&T’s bands, as well as with the 1700MHz frequency used on T-Mobile’s network (the same as Galaxy Nexus).

Of course, LTE connectivity won’t be available with this model, and those who are eager to buy one should keep that in mind. After all, the 4G-enabled version should arrive in summer.
