14 DAY TRIAL // Epic Games has released an official statement denying the validity of a leaked image that appeared online, showing something called Gears of War: Redux for the PlayStation 4, saying that the alleged photo is a fake.
The Xbox 360 benefitted greatly from the exclusive Gears of War franchise made by independent developer Epic Games, although the studio hinted on several occasions that it could take the series to other platforms when the time is right.
Now, during E3 2013, a mysterious image popped up on the web depicting something called Gears of War: Redux for the PlayStation 4.
While there were a few errors in regards to its disclaimer, the image seemed real enough.
Epic Games, however, has transmitted a statement through IGN, saying that the photo is a fake and, what's more, that it would never use such a font for its titles.
As such, PS4 owners shouldn't expect to see Gears of War on their platform.
