A new build for Emsisoft Anti-Malware has been released, featuring fixes for both major and minor bugs, affecting various components of the suite.

Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6.0.0.51 fixes the problem with disabling surf protection individually and with scanning NTFS mount points. Error 31 in the updating system has also been eliminated.

The Security Setup Wizard used to crash randomly, but the development team managed to detect the cause and eliminate it.

On the same note, whitelists should now be saved correctly, and the application rules created by the user should not disappear anymore.

Additional mending available in this release refers to bugs causing a huge memory leak in service component and minor issues affecting handling of trial and freeware mode.

You can update your package to version 6.0.0.51 either by running an online update or by installing a fresh copy of the application, available here.
