Developer CCP announces that it is revamping the entirety of the skill system for their shooter MMO Dust 514 for the Uprising build that will be launched during May, in order to offer more variety for gamers and create a more open experience.

In an official post on the PlayStation blog, the team states, “we have removed the secondary and tertiary requirement from all skills. This means that while skills may have multiple parent skills in a linear succession, they will not have multiple direct prerequisite skills.”

Gamers will get Skill Points back and will be able to redistribute them.

The process might see some items removed from gamer inventories and their value will be refunded.

CCP plans to offer a more detailed update of the new skills system for Dust 514 before the May 6 launch of Uprising.
