The impressive trailer shows off a lot of footage from the RPG

Dragon Age: Inquisition, the next entry into the medieval fantasy RPG series from BioWare, has just received a brand new gameplay video as well as a launch date of October 7.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to mark a new stage for BioWare, as it's the first of the Frostbite 3-powered projects from the studio, while ushering in a fresh set of adventures taking place in the Dragon Age universe.

After getting to admire the cover art of the game earlier today, BioWare has revealed an actual gameplay video with Dragon Age: Inquisition in action.

The trailer, named Inquisitor, focuses on the protagonist, who's the leader of the Inquisition, a force of heroes from across the land of Thedas, who need to work together in other to stop the invasion of monsters from the Fade.

As you can see, the game is looking really good not just in the cut scenes but also during combat, with players being able to pull off all sorts of great attacks against their foes, be they small monsters or huge dragons.

What's more, the gameplay video also pins a release date of October 7 onto the RPG, so get ready to play it at that time on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
