The latest update brings several bug fixes and improvements

WhatsApp Messenger has more users than Twitter, according to the latest reports. The application is clearly the most popular instant messaging applications for mobile devices and its developers claim they have already reached 20 billion messages a day.

That’s one more reason for WhatsApp to continue to improve its services on various platforms.

The latest version of WhatsApp Messenger for Android devices has just arrived and is now up for download on dev’s site. It brings some bug fixes and improvements, such as the ones detailed below:

- fix for talkback accessibility; - fix for HTC URL links; - improvements to notification action buttons; - miscellaneous bug fixes, performance and translation improvements.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.5484 is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
