WhatsApp Messenger, the most popular instant messaging application for mobile devices has just received a minor update on Android platform.

This would be the fourth update released this week for WhatsApp Messenger and, just like the previous versions, this one is not available on Google Play Store yet.

The latest version of WhatsApp Messenger is likely to bring more bug fixes, as well as translations and improvements. Unfortunately, developers have yet to release an official changelog for this update, so there’s no telling what’s changed.

However, those who wish to be up to date with the latest WhatsApp Messenger iterations can manually download and install the application via Softpedia.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.11.56 is now available as a free download and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
