iOS developer Igor Kalicinski has released an update to its Minecraft-inspired game for iPhone and iPod touch, Survivalcraft 1.24.2.0.

iOS gamers who download Survivalcraft will find themselves marooned on the shores of an edgeless blocky world, with a mission to explore and gather resources to craft tools and weapons, hunt, make traps, grow plants, and basically just survive. Hence the name, Survivalcraft.

“Build a shelter to survive nights and share your worlds online. Ride horses or camels and herd cattle. Blast your way through the rock with explosives.

“Build complex electric devices. Possibilities are infinite in this sandbox survival and construction game,” says Igor Kalicinski, the developer.

A new version of the game is now available, namely 1.24.2.0. It adds bows and 4 types of arrows, electric shooting targets, reindeers, tigers and rare white tigers, hyenas, ivy and strings, feathers, iron fences and iron fence gates.

Users can now adjust global temperature and humidity in creative mode, and since it’s winter time, Kalicinski also threw in a nice Christmas Tree.

“This is the twenty fifth release of Survivalcraft, and it is Christmas-themed,” says Kalicinski. “Check out the new, prettier Christmas Tree and find reindeer roaming the land.”

“More importantly, this update finally adds long awaited bow and arrows, and an electric shooting target. There are iron fences to better match your building style and ivy that grows from overhangs in hot and humid areas. Beware the fearsome tigers, which can easily jump over large obstacles to get to you,” he writes in the game’s description.

Kalicinski promises to offer features you love in the PC version of Minecraft and then some, including “infinite worlds, caves, logic elements (electricity), weather, boats, ridable animals and many more. It does so while maintaining its own realistic, survival-themed style.”
