Social networking / photography service Snapchat Inc. has outed a minor bug-fix update for iOS customers, adding improvements in the friend-finding module and more.

Snapchat lets you take a photo or a video, add a caption, and then whisk it away to a friend, or multiple friends. After viewing it, the photo disappears from their screen.

That’s not to say they can’t hold on to it, though. So be careful what you post. According to the developers, “even though Snaps are deleted from our servers after they are viewed, we cannot prevent the recipient(s) from capturing and saving the message by taking a screenshot or using an image capture device.”

Version 6.1.1 is now available for download featuring some Find Friends improvements and some assorted bug fixes. If your experience has been less than stellar lately, download Snapchat 6.1.1 and see how this release fares on your device.
