Mass Effect 3: Citadel, the latest expansion for the impressive role-playing shooter, is now available for download on the Xbox 360 and will be released later today, March 5, on the PC and PlayStation 3 platforms.

Mass Effect 3 came out a year ago and delivered a sprawling conclusion to the trilogy of games made by BioWare.

Since then, plenty of DLC packs have been released for the title, both for its single-player campaign and for its cooperative multiplayer mode.

Now, the final add-on for the game, Mass Effect 3: Citadel, has just been released.

The DLC can be downloaded in two parts on the Xbox 360 right now via Xbox Live. The first costs 1200 MS Points while the second pack can be downloaded for free, although it won't enable until after the installation of the original one.

On the PC and PlayStation 3 platforms, the Citadel DLC will be available as a single package, costing either 1200 BioWare Points or $15/€15. European PS3 owners, however, will have to wait until tomorrow, March 6, to get the add-on.
