14 DAY TRIAL // Vuze has been updated to version 4.3.0.2 for Mac OS X, adding support per-url config for http seeds and the max_speed setting, and other changes. Vuze is similar to uTorrent, a popular BitTorrent client mostly used by PC owners.
According to the release notes for Vuze 4.3.0.2, the new features include Core - support per-url config for http seeds and max_speed setting; Plug - start of a fallback magnet lookup service; UI - clicking on dock icon always opens main window. The core changes include: parse hex-encoded magnet URIs too; immediate-close option for tracker socket connections; return IP address instead of DNS names for external seeds; support more non-conformant RSS feed dates; auto-speed bias towards min ping times rather than pure average.
