Civilization III: Complete is now available as a digital download for Mac gamers.  The bundle includes the original Civilization III game and the Play the World Multiplayer and Conquests expansion packs.

The offer comes via Macgamestore. The seller has added the digital version of Aspyr Media's Civilization III: Complete to its portfolio of downloads for Mac gamers.

Featuring the original game as well as the two subsequent expansion packs, Civilization III: Complete is priced at just $19.95.

Civilization III is the third installment of the Sid Meier's turn-based strategy computer game series.

Preceded by Civilization II and followed by Civilization IV, the game boasts sophisticated gameplay in terms of both mechanics and strategy and, unlike the original game, the third iteration was designed by Jeff Briggs and Soren Johnson.

According to the people advertising and selling Civilization III: Complete, the bundle “provides more ways to win, more ways to explore, more strategies to employ, and more exciting modes of play all in one box!”

“Civilization III: Complete gives Civ fans the opportunity to enjoy unmatched strategic gameplay alone or against players from around the world,” reads the enticing description.

To play the game, Mac gamers need no more than a 500 MHz PowerPC G4/G5 or Intel processor (or faster, of course), Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or later, 256 MB of RAM (or higher), 2 GB free disk space, and a display supporting 1024×768 resolution.

To engage in multiplayer battles, players are required to provide a LAN or Internet connection for some modes. The developers recommend a broadband Internet connection for 5 or more players.
