14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of the Chrome Beta mobile browser is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 29.0.1547.58, which brings along stability and performance improvements, Google notes.
The new application release arrives on devices with a series of bug fixes packed inside, including one for an issue where textures are not freed for invisible tabs, and another for LayerTitleCache::ClearExcept Crash.
Other fixes were also found and resolved in the application when compared to version 29.0.1547.55 that was released last week, all of which are detailed on this page on Google’s Chromium website.
Given that this is a beta iteration, the browser might still pack a series of issues inside, which could impact users’ experience with it, though they should be resolved in the final release.
