Adobe Revel 2.1 is out for photography aficionados using iPhones and iPads with a few neat enhancements, including some much-needed video support.

Revel now supports video, and each one counts as one asset, which means your monthly import quota won’t be taxed more than before. Although a video is not equal to a photo in file size, it is equal in terms of how Adobe measures your allowance.

Adobe Revel 2.1 lets you select the auto-import option, and any photo or video you take is instantly imported. Even better, photos and short movies can be mashed together to turn them into an album (which can then be shared to a web gallery).

SMS sharing is now enabled, and you can easily post your videos to Facebook resting assured that you’ll present viewers with an automatic thumbnail from the clip. Finally, .png photos are supported.
